Statement

I explore urban spaces through photography and video, focusing on abstraction, geometry, light, and overlooked details. My work transforms familiar environments into unfamiliar visual experiences.

Biography

I work with space as an abstract medium — its texture, its geometry, and the emotional resonance it holds. The human figure is deliberately minimised, so that the environment's own identity comes forward: illumination and shadow, building form, and the transitional zones between them.

My practice investigates urban isolation and liminal conditions — the understated narrative tension held in overlooked details. Rather than documentation, the images function as imprints: records made through colour, material, geometric relation and the accidents of the everyday.

Recent work returns to my hometown as a subject — a poetic rediscovery of a familiar place, its atmospheric dynamism and quiet daily rhythms reframed through abstraction.
